Screw the money — Anthropic’s $1.5B copyright settlement sucks for writers

Writers don’t get this settlement as a result of their work was fed to an AI — that is only a pricey slap on the wrist for Anthropic as a result of it illegally downloaded books as a substitute of shopping for them.
